These kits allow you to shorten the rear wheel track on your Commodore as well as eliminating 90% of the flex that the factory control arms and bushings suffer from under hard launches and cornering!
This Listing is for-
1 x Pair - SCF Shortened IRS Trailing Arms
+ If optioned for-
1 x Pair - SCF Custom Length Driveshafts (OEM Power Rating. Higher HP rated Driveshafts available for additional cost)
These arm's have been designed to shorten the rear wheel track 100mm/4" per side!
This Kit will ONLY work with split mini tubs (Factory Wheel Tub moved across to the rail, The area of the wheel tub needs to move across all the way to the chassis rail to clear the shock) and providing you have the correct width/offset wheels (See below)
Not only do we shorten the track but we also run a Chromoly tubular outer arm and Chromoly Teflon lined heim joint & threaded adjuster which eliminates all of the flex that the outer bushes suffer from under hard launches in drag racing and heavy cornering in drift/race applications, and to further aid in ease of alignment we have fitted SuperPro Adjustable bushes to the inner pickup points.
These Kits also do away with the poorly designed/weak factory rear Toe rods.
By shortening the rear wheel track a greater wheel offset is required, it is advised that you have the kit fitted before measuring and ordering your new wheels!
Below measurements are NOT the exact measurement's required but only an estimated largest wheel size/offset of what MAY fit.
Split Tubbed-
15 x 10" with 4.5" Backspace- 275/60 Radial
20" x 10" with 4" Backspace (-38 Offset)
22" x 10" with 4.5" Backspace (-25 Offset)
(Both the Silver Monaro and the Red Clubsport are running 20x10" 4" Backspace wheels for reference)
You have the option to purchase with the OEM Rated Driveshafts, or without Driveshafts.
Heavy-Duty Driveshafts can be purchased through Diff Technics (02) 9587 9282 in NSW, please contact them directly for pricing and availability!
Please Read-
These are not a straight bolt and go type setup, it is highly suggested to have your fabricator split minitub the vehicle and fit the IRS along with modify anything required, see below-
Trailing arm's are modified factory item's that are in good working order locally sourced from wreckers and once completed are finished in a Satin Black enamel, this means that they may have small blemishes and inconsistencies.
These arms will raise the height of the car approximately 15-30mm, a lower spring will be required to achieve your desired ride height.
SEDAN- When running the 100mm Kit on Split Mini tubs the fixing's for the rear Shock's can be put under pressure from moving the arm so far in, thus causing premature wear on the shock bushes.
UTE/WAGON- Will require a considerably shorter rear shock.
Brake line tabs on the chassis rail may have to be moved if it appears that they will make contact with the arm under full compression.
Exhaust system or aftermarket fuel systems may have to be modified.
Also note, we no longer manufacture/sell our Tubular Subframes, IRS Viking Coilover Kits, Shock Brackets, Driveshaft spacers, VE/VF IRS Kits or any other Commodore IRS component aside from our Camber Boxes.
📦 ORDERING, PRICING & TIMELINE INFO (READ BEFORE ORDERING)
We’ve officially opened orders for our Shortened IRS Kits, with a strict 4-week ordering window before entries close.
To secure a kit, a $250 deposit is required (non-refundable) — this locks you in and secures your place in the production queue.
Orders will remain open for 2 weeks before manufacturing begins, with production kicking off around Monday 27th April.
From there, orders will remain open for a further 2 weeks, closing on Sunday 10th May.
After this point, orders will be closed so we can focus on production without delays or disruptions.

Once orders close, that’s it.

If you miss the 4-week window, you will not be able to order one after the cutoff.
💰 Pricing & Payment Structure
Total Kit Pricing (excludes shipping):
- $4,000 with driveshafts
- $2,800 without driveshafts
To get started, a $250 deposit secures your order.
The remaining balance will be:
- $3,750 with driveshafts (after deposit)
- $2,550 without driveshafts (after deposit)
Once your deposit is placed:
- Your spot is locked in
- Your kit is scheduled for production
When your kit is completed:
- It will be packaged onto a pallet/skid
- We will weigh and measure it
- A freight quote will be calculated to your supplied address
Your order will then be updated with:
- The remaining balance
- The shipping cost
We will then send you an email with a payment link to finalise your order.
👉 If you haven’t received this email yet, it simply means your order is not ready for dispatch yet — please wait until you hear from us.
Once paid, your kit will be dispatched immediately
🚚 Shipping Info (Important)
Shipping is charged separately and will vary depending on your location.
As a rough guide:
- Major metro areas: typically around $150–$400
- Rural/remote areas may be higher
Final pricing is confirmed once packed — this is determined by freight providers and out of our control
⏱️ Production Timeline & Order Priority
This will run on a first in, best dressed basis
- Early orders = earlier production + faster delivery
- Late orders = longer wait times
Estimated:
- First kits may begin shipping in roughly 5 weeks
- Orders placed later in the window could see 10–12+ week turnaround
We won’t cap the number of kits sold —
however, once orders close, production is locked and no additional kits will be added
